Identity Guard® Plan Details

 

Who is eligible to receive the benefits?

We offer three types of Identity Guard® Plan Options:

  1. Individual Plan — a subscription-based plan that covers a single adult.
  2. Couple Plan — a subscription-based plan that covers two adults in a single household.
  3. Family Plan — a subscription-based plan that covers two adults and minor children in a single household.

Membership definitions:

  1. Primary Member — The individual who enrolls in one of the Identity Guard® Plan options and pays the applicable monthly membership fee.
  2. Added Member — The individual adult in the same household invited by the Primary Member to activate the service. The Added Member is not charged for the service, because the service is included in the cost of the plan selected by the Primary Member.

 

Terms regarding Added Members and children:

After the Primary Member is enrolled in either the Identity Guard® Couple Plan or Family Plan, an email containing a unique activation link will be automatically sent to the Primary Member’s email address on file. The Primary Member must forward this email to the Added Member he/she wants to add for service, so that the Added Member can activate at no additional charge. The Added Member must complete the activation — the Primary Member may not perform the activation for the Added Member.

Where the Family Plan is selected, the Primary Member is allowed to add children to kID Sure child monitoring via the online member area.

Added Member Non-Activation terms:

An Added Member has 90 days from the date of enrollment of the Primary Member to activate his or her account. If an Added Member fails to activate within that activation period, or the Added Member cancels the service after activation, the monthly membership fee charged to the Primary Member will be automatically reduced as follows:

Original Plan Enrolled/Monthly Fee Updated Plan/Monthly Fee (after Added Member cancellation or non-activation)
Family Plan — $12.49 per month Primary Member + children — $10.49 per month
Couple Plan — $10.49 per month  Individual — $7.49 per month

In the event of certain service interruptions for an added member lasting longer than 30 days, the monthly membership fee may be reduced as follows:

Original Plan Enrolled/Monthly Fee Updated Plan/Monthly Fee (after Added Member has service interruption)
Family Plan — $12.49 per month Primary Member + children — $10.49 per month
Couple Plan — $10.49 per month  Individual — $7.49 per month

 

kID Sure® Child Monitoring Activation for Family Plan:

The Primary Member may activate kID Sure child monitoring. If the Primary Member’s service is cancelled, any Added Member and minor child activations will be concurrently cancelled. If an Added Member fails to enroll within 90 days of the Primary Member, or cancels his or her activation after enrollment, the plan will continue to cover the Primary Member plus children at a reduced price of $10.49 per month.

 

The price adjustments described above will occur prospectively. No retroactive price adjustments will be made.
