How Our Cancellation and Refund Policy Works

Customers may enroll in the Identity Guard® service through monthly subscriptions. Some services may also include free trials.

 

Monthly Subscriptions

I’m enrolled in Identity Guard with a monthly subscription and would like to cancel. When can I cancel and will I receive a refund?

You may cancel your Identity Guard service at any time. Cancellations are processed at the end of your billing period and you will have access to your account until the last day of your billing period. WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED, AND YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY CREDIT, REFUND, PRICE ADJUSTMENT OR ANY OTHER DISCOUNT, COMPENSATION OR RECOMPENSE FOR ANY PARTIAL-USE OR EARLY CANCELLATION. If certain features of the services cannot be fully installed your membership will be cancelled promptly and you will not be billed.

 

Free Trials

How does the cancellation and refund policy work if I cancel during my free trial period?

If you are enrolled in a free trial, you will not be billed until the end of your free trial. However, if certain features cannot be fully installed your membership will be cancelled promptly. You may cancel your service at any time during your trial period and you will not be billed. If you initially enrolled in a free trial that has ended, please read the section for Monthly Subscriptions for information on cancellations and refunds.

You may cancel your service online by logging into your account and visiting the settings page.

 

Employee Benefits Refund Policy

How Our Cancellation and Refund Policy Works

Employees may enroll in Identity Guard® services in monthly subscriptions by one of the following payment types. The refund and cancellation policy that applies to you depends on the payment coverage under which the fees for the Identity Guard services is paid.

 

If you are enrolled in one of the following plans, your policy is as follows:

  1. 100% Employee Paid by Credit Card
  2. 100% Employee Payroll Deduction
  3. Employer Paid plus Employee Credit Card buy up
  4. Employer Paid plus Employee Payroll Deduction

You may cancel your Identity Guard service at any time by calling 1-855-443-7748 or in your member area. Cancellations will be processed at the end of your current month’s billing period. Refunds are not provided and you and additional members enrolled under your plan will have access to your account until the last day of your current month’s billing period. However, if one or more of the services cannot be fully installed and you have not been billed, your service will be cancelled and you won’t have access to your account.

 

If you are enrolled in 100% Employer Paid, your policy is as follows:

Cancellations can occur at any time and must be processed and provided to Identity Guard by your Employer. Refunds are not provided and once you are cancelled you won’t have access to your account.

For any member of the service, regardless of payment type, in the event of certain service interruptions lasting longer than 15 days, billing may be suspended and you will be refunded a full month’s refund in the form of payment provided during enrollment.

 

When Will I Receive My Refund?

For credit card payments, if you are eligible to receive a refund, it will be credited to the credit card used for payment within one to two billing cycles.

For payroll deduction, if you are eligible to receive a refund it will be credited back in your paycheck by your Employer. Please contact your Employer’s Human Resources department to confirm the timeframe that the refund will be credited.
